DESCRIPTION:<p>This conference aims to provide a forum in which to discuss pragmatic approaches to metaphysics from the perspective(s) of philosophy of science. The invited speakers share an interest in pragmatism\, either in general or as a way to approach particular issues in their own field. The goal is start from a broadly pragmatic perspective to examine particular issues at the intersection of metaphysics and philosophy of science\, as well as considering more general issues about how pragmatism can mediate interaction between parallel discussions in the two fields.</p>\n<p>There will be some opportunities for chairing\; if you are interested\, please contact Holly Andersen\, handerse@sfu.ca.</p>
