DESCRIPTION:<p>The German Society for Analytic Philosophy (GAP) invites submissions of papers and posters for its ninth international conference\, GAP.9\, to take place in Osnabr&uuml\;ck\, Germany\,&nbsp\;September 14-17\, 2015. The overall topic of the conference is "Philosophy Between Armchair and Lab"\, but submissions (in English or German) are welcome for all areas of analytic philosophy\, in particular for the following thirteen sections:&nbsp\;<br><br>1. Philosophy of Language<br>2. Metaphysics and Ontology<br>3. Logic<br>4. Philosophy of Science<br>5. Philosophy of Mind and Cognition<br>6. Epistemology<br>7. Philosophy of Religion<br>8. Aesthetics<br>9. Applied Ethics<br>10. Normative Ethics<br>11. Metaethics\, Action Theory and Decision Theory<br>12. Political Philosophy\, Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy<br>13. History and Methods of Analytic Philosophy<br><br>Details about the conference can be found at&nbsp\;http://gap9.de/en/<br><br>Details about the Call for Papers and Posters can be found below and under&nbsp\;http://gap9.de/en/?section=callforpaper<br><br>Please address any queries to&nbsp\;info@gap9.de.&nbsp\;<br><br>We are looking forward to meeting you at GAP.9 in Osnabr&uuml\;ck!</p>\n<p>In order to submit your paper or poster to GAP.9\, please send</p>\n<p>- an email to&nbsp\;cfp@gap9.de</p>\n<p>- by&nbsp\;February 1\, 2015\,</p>\n<p>- containing a short abstract (max. 350 words) and a longer summary (about 1.000 words) stating the central claims and arguments of your contribution\,</p>\n<p>- in rtf-\, doc-\, docx- or pdf-format\;</p>\n<p>- please let us also know for which section your contribution is submitted and</p>\n<p>- whether it is a paper or poster.</p>\n<p><br>The longer summary must by suitably anonymized\, i.e.\, prepared for a double blind review process\; submissions will be reviewed by at least two referees. You will be notified about the decision by May 2015.</p>\n<p>All submissions can be either in German or in English. Talks must not exceed 25 minutes\; then there will be 10 minutes time for discussion. Posters will be presented in DIN A0 format.</p>\n<p>Papers and posters can be independently submitted and will be independently reviewed. If more acceptable talks are submitted than there are slots in the respective section\, we may propose to submit a poster instead.</p>\n
