DESCRIPTION:<p>We invite submissions of papers by graduate students to a conference hosted by the PhD students of the&nbsp\;<strong>Philosophy Department at Stockholm University\, May 22-23 2015.</strong></p>\n<p>Papers on any topic in philosophy are welcome. Submissions will be selected according to argumentative strength\, clarity\, originality\, and accessibility to a general philosophical audience. Presentations of the papers can take 20-25 minutes and will be followed by comments from a faculty member and general discussion. In so far as possible\, senior faculty members will provide the comments.</p>\n<p>Keynote speakers are&nbsp\;<strong>Robin Jeshion (University of Southern California)&nbsp\;</strong>and&nbsp\;<strong>John Skorupski (University of St. Andrews)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Submission Guidelines</strong></p>\n<p>Deadline for submission is&nbsp\;<strong>February 1\, 2015</strong>. Succesful applicants will be notified of their success by March 15.</p>\n<p>The application should contain the following:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>A cover letter containing (a) author&rsquo\;s name\, (b) institutional affiliation\, (c) contact information (at least e-mail address)\, (d) title of the paper\, (e) word count\, and (f) area(s) of the paper (e.g. ethics\, metaphysics\, epistemology\, philosophy of language\, etc.).&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>The paper\, which should not exceed 4 000 words (including footnotes\, excluding abstract). The paper should be prepared for blind review\, and should include an abstract of no more than 250 words.&nbsp\;</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Please send applications as separate attachments in pdf-format tostefan.buijsman@philosophy.su.se<strong>&nbsp\;</strong>containing as subject&nbsp\;&ldquo\;Application&rdquo\;.</p>\n<p>All questions relating to the conference should be sent to the same e-mail address.
