DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for applications: &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>2nd PLM MASTERCLASS</strong> with&nbsp\;<strong>David Chalmers</strong>&nbsp\;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Stockholm University 7-8 June 2015 &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Postgraduates are invited to apply for the 2nd PLM Masterclass\, to be held at the Department of Philosophy\, Stockholm University\, 7-8 June 2015. The masterclass will be devoted to the work of David Chalmers\, New York University and Australian National University. 9 graduate students will have the opportunity to present papers on David Chalmers&rsquo\;s work. Professor Chalmers will comment on the papers and will also present new research.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Each student talk will be 30 minutes long\, and will be followed by comments by Professor Chalmers and a general discussion. &nbsp\; Participation in the Masterclass will be free of charge\, but students will have to find their own funding support for accommodation and living expenses. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Applications are made by sending an abstract up to 1000 words of your proposed talk\, together with a short cv\, to &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>plm.masterclass@gmail.com &nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The deadline for application is 28 February\, 2015. Please use pdf (preferred)\, doc\, or docx\, as your file format. Notifications regarding acceptance will be sent out in the beginning of April. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The Masterclass is organised by&nbsp\;<strong>CLLAM</strong>\, The Center for Logic\, Language\, and Mind\, at the Department of Philosophy\, Stockholm University. CLLAM is a member of&nbsp\;<strong>PLM</strong>(Philosophy of Language and Mind)\, a network of philosophical centres\, institutes\, and departments in Europe. Besides CLLAM\, the network includes Arch&eacute\; (St Andrews)\, Northern Institute of Philosophy (NIP)\, Aberdeen (until 15 January)\, the Department of Philosophy of CEU (Budapest)\, CSMN (Oslo)\, ILCLI (Donostia/San Sebastian)\, ILLC (Amsterdam)\, the Institute of Philosophy (London)\, the Institute of Philosophy II (Bochum)\, LOGOS (Barcelona)\, and LanCog (Lisbon).
