Harm Boukema taught philosophy for 40 years at<br>the Universities of Amsterdam\, Twente\, Tilburg and Nijmegen and inspired<br>generations of Dutch philosophy students with his penetrating and<br>original analyses of Descartes\, Hegel\, Russell\, Wittgenstein and Austin.<br>His recent publication\, "Russell's Second Paradox: A Dialectical<br>Analysis of 'On Denoting&rsquo\;" is an example of his close-reading method and<br>of his long-standing interest in looking for the hidden common ground of<br>analytic and continental philosophy.<br><br>All are welcome to attend. This seminar is part of the German Philosophy<br>Seminar series at the IMLR:&nbsp\;</p>
