DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>International Scientific Conference on Neuroethics and Second Conference of the</strong><br><strong>Italian Society for Neuroethics (SINe)</strong><br><br><strong>Who Feels What?</strong><br><strong>Neuroethics among Brain\, Mind\, and Consciousness</strong><br><strong>Meetings on Neuroscience and Society\, VII Edition</strong><br><br><strong>Padua &ndash\;&nbsp\;May 13th &ndash\; 15th\, 2015</strong><br><strong>University of Padua</strong><br><strong>Aula Cesare Musatti</strong><br><strong>School of Psychology\, via Venezia 8</strong><br><br><br>The Italian Society for Neuroethics is glad to announce the<br><br><strong>Call for Papers</strong><br><br>for the VII edition of the International Scientific Conference on Neuroethics\,&nbsp\;<br><br><em>Who Feels What?</em><br><em>Neuroethics between Brain\, Mind\, and Consciousness</em><br><br>that will be held in Padua from&nbsp\;May 13th to May 15th\, 2015.<br><br><br><br><strong>Keynote Speakers (among others)</strong><br>Enrico Alleva\, Cnr Roma<br>Jean-Pierre Changeux\, College de France\, Paris<br>Tim Crane\, Cambridge University<br>John Glannon\, Calgary University<br>John Harris\, Manchester University<br>Marcello Massimini\, Universit&agrave\; degli Studi di Milano<br>Ingmar Persson\, Oxford University<br>Massimo Reichlin\, Universit&agrave\; Vita-Salute San Raffaele\, Milano<br>Pier Cesare Rivoltella\, Universit&agrave\; Cattolica del Sacro Cuore\, Milano<br><br><br><br><strong>Conference Topics</strong><br><br>Contributions are open\, however\, papers on the mind-brain relationship\,&nbsp\;consciousness\, pain\, and neuroeducation will be particularly appreciated.&nbsp\;Contributions can be experimental\, theoretical\, analytical\, or critical works.<br><br><br><strong>Submission Guidelines and Attendance</strong><br><br>Participants can only send one contribution as first authors\, but they can&nbsp\;appear as second authors of other contributions.&nbsp\;Abstracts must be submitted to&nbsp\;convegno@societadineuroetica.it\, in either .doc&nbsp\;or .pdf format.&nbsp\;<strong>Authors should explicit their intention to submit a paper &ndash\; as</strong>&nbsp\;<strong>opposed to a poster.</strong>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Any request of information should also be sent to the same e-mail address.&nbsp\;Abstracts must be ready for blind review.&nbsp\;The submission files must contain only the title of the contribution\, the&nbsp\;abstract and the references. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words\, plus 10&nbsp\;references records\, which will not be considered in the words count.&nbsp\;Abstracts can be written either in Italian or in English\, according to the&nbsp\;language chosen for the paper.<br><br>In the text of the e-mail authors should indicate their personal information:<br>- name and family name\;<br>- affiliation (if any)\;<br>- areas of interest\;<br>- date of birth\;<br>- title of the paper\;<br>- e-mail address\;<br>- phone number.<br><br><br><strong>Deadlines and Reviewing Process</strong><br><br>The deadline for abstract submission is&nbsp\;<strong>April 9th\, 2015</strong>.<br>Notification of acceptance will be given by April 17th\, 2015.<br><br>Abstracts will be subject to blind review. The Scientific Committee will be&nbsp\;selected from members of the Italian Society for Neuroethics&nbsp\;(http://societadineuroetica.it/).<br><br>Accepted papers will have 25 minutes for presentation\, plus 10 minutes for&nbsp\;discussion.&nbsp\;<br><br>All authors of selected papers\, if attending\, will have to subscribe to the&nbsp\;Conference.
