DESCRIPTION:<p>Like similar seminars\, the South Central Seminar is an informal group designed to foster interaction among scholars working on topics in the history of early modern (pre-Kantian) philosophy.</p>\n<p>Confirmed speakers: Kate Abramson (Indiana)\, Helen Hattab (U Houston)\, and George E. Smith (Tufts).</p>\n<p>Abstracts of 500 words or less on any topic in early modern philosophy before Kant should be prepared for blind review and submitted to Katherine Dunlop (kdunlop@utexas.edu) no later than March 15\, 2015<strong>.</strong>&nbsp\; Authors will be notified of decisions by May 31.</p>
