The aim of the symposium is to foster empirical understanding of the universal aspects of morality\, and to examine its philosophical significance. The invited speakers discuss these issues from their disciplinary expertise. Research members of the <a href="http://evolutionaryethics.wp.hum.uu.nl/"><strong>NWO-funded project 'Evolutionary Ethics'</strong></a> will provide commentaries.</p>
