DESCRIPTION:<p>The Society for Women in Philosophy Ireland (SWIP-I)\, in conjunction with University College Cork (UCC) Philosophy and Politics departments\, are organizing a 2-day Conference on the UCC Campus\, with a view to opening up a space for dialogue between artists and academics on the theme: &ldquo\;Aesthetics and the Feminine&rdquo\;\, selected in recognition of the fact that women are still a minority group in the Philosophy profession. This conference aims to explore representations of &ldquo\;the feminine&rdquo\; across the arts in order to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be &ldquo\;feminine&rdquo\; (or not) today.</p>
