DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Great Plains Philosophy Symposium</strong>-Oct. 24\, 2015 University of Kansas</p>\n<p>Please submit an abstract of no more than <strong>250 words </strong>and a paper no more than <strong>3000 words</strong> to <strong>greatplainsphilosophy@gmail.com by Aug. 20\, 2015.</strong> Any topic or issue in <strong>moral psychology</strong> is welcome. Please self-identify with two keywords as to what sub-field or aspect your topic is.</p>\n<p>This will be a symposium rather than a typical conference. The difference is this: we will circulate the accepted papers before the conference and have moderated round table discussions rather than the usual long presentation\, comments\, and short Q&amp\;A. We think this will be more beneficial and engaging for the audience as well as the presenters.</p>\n<p>We will have Owen Flanagan as our keynote speaker and KU will have Julia Annas give the celebrated Lindley Lecture the night before our symposium. So if you get into town a day early you could enjoy that as well.</p>
