SUMMARY:Language of nature and language of science on the threshold of modern age

DESCRIPTION:
The landmark between the Renaissance and Early modern age is characterised\, besides\, by the shift from the search for a restoration of the language of divine Creation or paradisiacal Adamic language\, expressing the essences of things\, towards the search for a construction of a new\, perfect\, mathematically accurate language of science. Hebrew\, other ancient languages and contemporary ordinary languages are by early modern scholars mostly considered to be conventional\, inaccurate and insufficient. Philological research of postlapsarian and postbabylonian languages has no deep sense for natural science anymore\, but mathematics\, in contrast\, is viewed as a language mirroring the book of nature and\, furthermore\, the language of geometrising God.
\n
The aim of the conference is not only to contribute to the research in the field of early modern perfect and universal languages\, but to show the transformation of the notions of &ldquo\;language of God&rdquo\;\, &ldquo\;language of nature&rdquo\;\, &ldquo\;natural language&rdquo\; and &ldquo\;scientific language&rdquo\; as well. All papers dealing with solving of those problems in the Renaissance and Early modern age are welcome.
\n
E-mail: konferencenovovek@gmail.com
