DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for Abstracts:&nbsp\; West Coast Plato Workshop on the <em>Philebus</em></p>\n<p>The West Coast Plato Workshop will meet in Flagstaff at Northern Arizona University May 7-8\, 2016 to discuss ten papers on the <em>Philebus</em>. All participants will read the papers before the workshop. Authors will give a ten-minute summary. A commentator will then speak for ten minutes\, followed by a five-minute reply by the author and about forty minutes of discussion.</p>\n<p>Keynote speakers are:</p>\n<p>Mary Louise Gill\, Brown University: &ldquo\;The Fourfold Division of Kinds at <em>Philebus </em>23b-27c&rdquo\;</p>\n<p>Fernando Muniz\, Universidade Federal Fluminense: &ldquo\;Is There a Method of Division in the <em>Philebus?</em>&rdquo\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Instructions for submission of abstracts:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Send 500-word abstract to Julie Piering (<a href="mailto:Julie.Piering@nau.edu">Julie.Piering@nau.edu</a>) for blind review. Referees will seek coverage of different parts of the dialogue as they rank the abstracts.</p>\n<p>Deadline for submission of abstract is September 30\, 2015.</p>\n<p>Referees&rsquo\; reports due October 30\, 2015.</p>\n<p>Authors notified by November 10\, 2015.</p>\n<p>Completed papers of accepted abstracts are due to organizers and commentators February 15\, 2016.</p>
