DESCRIPTION:<p>This event is not actually scheduled yet\, so the "date" above is not necessarily correct. It will be during the APA Pacific Division meeting\, March 30-April 1\, 2016\, and the group meetings are often 7pm-10pm.</p>\n<p><strong>Please see the call for proposals\, below:</strong></p>\n<p>The American Association of Philosophy Teachers (AAPT) invites proposals for our session at the 2016 Pacific Division APA meeting in San Francisco\, CA\, March 30-April 3\, 2016.<br><br>Proposals on any topic related to teaching philosophy will be considered. Submissions are encouraged from teachers at two-year as well as four-year colleges. The AAPT encourages proposals that are interactive and practical.<br><br>Format: The three hour session will be composed of three 45 minute presentations. It is highly unlikely that the session will have A/V technology\, so plan accordingly.<br><br>Submissions: Please submit an abstract of no longer than 300 words\, along with relevant citations. Proposals should be prepared for BLIND REVIEW (please put identifying information on a separate page). Submit in either Word or PDF format to Christina Hendricks: c.hendricks@ubc.ca (notice the dot between the &ldquo\;c&rdquo\; and the &ldquo\;hendricks&rdquo\; in this email address!)<br><br>Deadline for proposals: September 18\, 2015.</p>
