DESCRIPTION:The 2015 meeting of the Atlantic Region Philosophers' Association is being hosted by St. Thomas University and the University of New Brunswick.&nbsp\; It will take place on October 30-31. The theme of this year&rsquo\;s meeting is&nbsp\;<em>The Relevance of Philosophy</em>\, though submissions on any topic in philosophy are welcome.\n<br>\nThis year&rsquo\;s keynote speaker will be Dr Andrew Chignell.&nbsp\; Dr Chignell is a member of the Susan Linn Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University\, with cross appointments in German Studies and Religious Studies. He specializes in 17th-18th&nbsp\;century philosophy\, focusing on the philosophy of Kant.\n<br>\nPapers must be of a length that allows reading in the space of 30 minutes. Submissions of abstracts can be sent as pdf or Microsoft Word attachments to&nbsp\;<a target="_blank">ARPA2015@unb.ca</a>. Applicants are encouraged to submit their abstracts by August 31st\, 2015\, though submissions will be considered until September 18\, 2015.\n<br>
