DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Great Plains Philosophy Symposium</strong>-Oct. 24th University of Kansas</p>\n<p>Centennial and English Rooms in the Kansas Union</p>\n<p>Topic: Moral Psychology</p>\n<p>Rather than the usual stiff conference set up of a long presentation\, commentator\, and brief Q&amp\;A we have decided to have a symposium. The differnce is this: papers will be circulated to all presenters and audience in advance of the conference\, there will be a brief presentation then a moderated roundtable discussion. This set up will be more engaging and beneficial to both the presenters and the audience. </p>\n<p>Owen Flanagan will be our keynote speaker. His lecture is titled The Geography of Morals: Varieties of Moral Possibilities.</p>
