DESCRIPTION:<p>The aim of this workshop is to explore child poverty from a political philosophical perspective. Despite an increase of the political philosophical literature on poverty\, especia</a>lly poverty in the global South\, the particular form of child poverty has not gained much attention. Topics include child poverty as a problem of social and global justice\, parental rights and duties under the circumstances of poverty\, the rights of children living in poverty or responsibilities of different agents of justice towards children in poverty.</p>\n<p>This workshop is a pre-conference event to the conference "Child Poverty in Times of Crisis"\, which takes place at the University of Salzburg\, August 25 and 26\, 2016.
