DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEB. 15</strong></p>\n\n\n<p>The North American Nietzsche Society announces its inaugural international conference to be held in New York City\, October 15-16\, 2016.</p>\n<p>Keynote speakers</p>\n<p>Beatrix Himmelmann<br> The Arctic University of Norway</p>\n<p>Bernard Reginster</p>\n<p>Brown University</p>\n<p>Abstracts (700-1000 words) on any aspect of Nietzsche&rsquo\;s philosophy should be prepared for blind review and sent no later than February 15\, 2016\, to the program committee via email: nans2016nyc@gmail.com</p>\n<p>The program committee will evaluate submissions and prepare a program of roughly six presentations (40 minutes each) with ample discussion. Decisions will be announced by April 2016. Papers presented at the conference may be published in a special issue of the Journal of Nietzsche Studies.</p>
