DESCRIPTION:<p>The symposium aims to fulfil two purposes: First\, it will honour therenowned philosopher Christopher Boorse (Delaware) and his contributions tophilosophy of medicine. He will present three new original papers during the meeting. Second\, it will provide a showcase of the current state of philosophy of medicine by giving the floor to a number of other well-known scholars in the field\, who will also present original papers.
