DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>The Philosophy of Saul Kripke</strong>&nbsp\;<br>Special Issue of the&nbsp\;<em>Romanian Journal of Analytic Philosophy</em>&nbsp\;<br><br>Guest Editor: Mircea Dumitru (University of Bucharest)</p>\n<p><br>Saul Kripke is one of the most original contemporary philosophers. His epoch-making logic and philosophical works changed the face of contemporary analytic philosophy.&nbsp\;<em>The Romanian Journal of Analytic Philosophy</em>&nbsp\;is editing a special issue with exegetical and critical assessments of Kripke&rsquo\;s achievements. We are looking for papers which explore the following topics of Kripke&rsquo\;s work:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>philosophical logic</li>\n<li>philosophy of language</li>\n<li>epistemology</li>\n<li>theory of truth</li>\n<li>metaphysics</li>\n<li>Wittgenstein and meaning</li>\n<li>history of analytic philosophy</li>\n<li>linguistics</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are also looking for book reviews of the following: Saul A. Kripke\,&nbsp\;<em>Philosophical Troubles</em>.&nbsp\;<em>Collected Papers\, Volume 1</em>. Oxford University Press\, 2011\; G. W. Fitch\,&nbsp\;<em>Saul Kripke</em>\, Acumen\, 2004\; Christopher Hughes\,&nbsp\;<em>Kripke: Names\, Necessity\, and Identity</em>\, Oxford University Press\, 2004\; Arif Ahmed\,&nbsp\;<em>Saul Kripke</em>\, Continuum\, 2007.<br><br>Manuscripts must be submitted till 15th May\, 2012.
