DESCRIPTION:<p>We are excited to announce that the Philosophy dept. at the University of Bristol will be hosting a Minorities and Philosophy @ Bristol conference! Details below:</p>\n<p>The University of Bristol Minorities and Philosophy chapter would like to invite postgraduate students- especially members from underrepresented groups- to submit abstracts (of no more than <strong>1000 words</strong>) for our upcoming MAP @ Bristol conference. The conference will be held on <strong>June 10\, 2016</strong>\, in the Philosophy Department at the University of Bristol.</p>\n<p>The event itself is free for all to attend\, with no registration fees. Our theme is &lsquo\;Philosophy from Minority Perspectives&rsquo\; broadly construed. Topics for presentations may include (but<strong> are not limited to</strong>):</p>\n<p>-Feminist philosophy</p>\n<p>-Philosophy of Gender\,</p>\n<p>-Philosophy of Race\,</p>\n<p>-Philosophy of Disability\,</p>\n<p>-Non Anglo-American philosophies/philosophers\, etc.</p>\n<p>We ask that submissions be anonymised\, with no identifying information in the body of text.
