DESCRIPTION:<p>Dr Heuer&rsquo\;s main interests are in theories of practical reasons\, action theory and metaethics. She has widely published in those areas. Currently she is working on a book on intentions\, reasons and responsibility. She is an associate professor in philosophy at Leeds\, having recently held a Guest Research Professorship at the University of Vienna\, and a British Academy mid-career fellowship.</p>\n<p>All lectures in the series are free and open to the public without registration. Lectures start at 5.15pm and last for 50 minutes\, with 40 minutes for questions\, followed by a wine reception.</p>
