DESCRIPTION:<p>The epidemiology and public health journal Preventive Medicine is launching a special section devoted to Philosophy of Epidemiology. The aim is to encourage real interaction between philosophers of science and public health scientists.</p>\n<p>There is no deadline since we intend the section to run over multiple issues\, to facilitate discussion.
