DESCRIPTION:<p>In this paper\, I present a novel solution to the non-identity problem. The non-identity problem is the problem of explaining why\, in certain cases\, we are morally obligated to create the happier of two distinct possible individuals. For instance\, we think that a woman suffering from German Measles is morally obligated to wait until she recovers before conceiving a child. I will offer an argument for the claim that the woman is indeed morally obligated to wait.</p>
