DESCRIPTION:<p>The Second Conference of the European Network for Japanese Philosophy&nbsp\;will be held in Brussels in honor of the&nbsp\;<strong>150th anniversary of the inauguration&nbsp\;of diplomatic relations between Belgium and Japan</strong>.</p>\n<p>Individual papers are welcome on a broad range of topics engaging&nbsp\;European and Japanese philosophical traditions.&nbsp\;Proposal for panels on topics from the intellectual history of Japan to&nbsp\;general issues in philosophy are also welcome.</p>\n<p>Papers may be delivered in English\, French\, Dutch\, or Japanese.</p>\n<p>The deadline for submission of proposals is&nbsp\;15 May 2016 and 500-words abstracts are&nbsp\;due no later than 31 August 2016.
