DESCRIPTION:<p>The conference organisers invite abstracts on&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theories of human dignity and human rights</li>\n<li>Institutional enforcement of human rights and human dignity</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The organisers particularly welcome papers engaging with innovations in our understanding of human dignity. Possible topics might be amongst the following (non exhaustive):&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Human dignity and the future</li>\n<li>Human dignity and longtermism</li>\n<li>Reforming politics and government in the light of human dignity&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Ethics\, aesthetics\, and the politics of memory</li>\n<li>A ' community of rights '&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Citizenship and cosmopolitanism</li>\n<li>Human dignity and technology</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We invite abstracts of 500 words on these or related topics. The extended deadline for submission is <strong>July 18</strong>. Please forward to <strong>vici.futureofhumandignity@gmail.com</strong>. You are invited to contact the organisers if you have proposals for panels related to the conference theme. All submissions will be reviewed by panel.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>There will be 5 conference fee options (please visit&nbsp\;http://humandignity.sites.uu.nl/the-future-of-human-dignity/). A small number of fee waivers are available for early career researchers.
