DESCRIPTION:<p>Date: July 12-14 2017.</p>\n<p>Location: Nanyang Technological University\, Singapore</p>\n<p>Confirmed Keynote Speakers:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>David Brink (University of California\, San Diego)</li>\n<li>Julia Driver (Washington University at St. Louis)</li>\n<li>Douglas Portmore (Arizona State University)</li>\n<li>Michael Smith (Princeton)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The aim of the conference is to bring together theorists working on the neutral/relative divide.&nbsp\;This divide marks a fault line in normative ethics and rational choice theory.</p>\n<p>We seek long abstracts (maximum 1\,000 words) that address central questions surrounding the neutral/relative divide. Suggested topics include\, but are not limited to:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agent-Relative Consequentialism</li>\n<li>Good-relative-to-x (or Goodme)</li>\n<li>The Structure of Normative Theories</li>\n<li>The Paradox of Deontology</li>\n<li>Consequentializing</li>\n<li>Honoring v. Promoting</li>\n<li>Time bias</li>\n<li>Interpersonal bias&nbsp\;Intrapersonal bias</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Please send abstracts prepared for blind review by email to <a href="mailto:neutralityconference@gmail.com">neutralityconference@gmail.com</a>. A program committee will evaluate the submissions. Talks will run for 25-30 minutes followed by Q&amp\;A.</p>\n<p>We are able to offer funding to presenters that will cover your accommodation in Singapore and most of your flight costs. Air travel funding will be determined by your country of origin.
