DESCRIPTION:<p>As of this academic year Prof. <a target="_blank">Piet Steenbakkers</a> (<a href="http://www.uu.nl/en/research/philosophy">Philosophy</a>) will retire. On Friday 2 September there will be a symposium dedicated to his scientific work\, with speakers from the various areas Piet Steenbakkers has contributed to\, followed by a public lecture.</p>\n\n<p>Piet Steenbakkers has worked as an Assistant Professor since 2003 and then as an Associate Professor at Utrecht University.
