DESCRIPTION:<p>The Cogito research group in Philosophy of Mathematics and Philosophy of Logic is glad to announce the workshop Philosophy of Logic that will take place at the University of Padua on the 7th of May 2012&nbsp\;from 15:00 to 19:15.<br><br>Cogito is a research center in philosophy whose aim is to foster research and internationalization on specific projects. &nbsp\;The main scientific interest of the group in Philosophy of Mathematics and Philosophy of Logic focuses\, on the one hand\, on the epistemological problems concerning mathematical truth and mathematical objects\, and the most recent debates in the subject\, such as mathematical explanation\, naturalism in mathematics\, and mathematical practice. On the other hand\, attention is devoted to the main themes in the philosophy of logic\, and the main branches of philosophical logic.
