DESCRIPTION:<p>The Phi Sigma Tau chapter at The University of Scranton invites submissions to our 1st annual undergraduate philosophy conference. The conference will be held <strong>February 17-18\, 2017</strong>. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Jay Bernstein from The New School for Social Research. Dr. Bernstein will be speaking on his recent book <em>Torture and Dignity: An Essay on Moral Injury</em> (The University of Chicago Press\, 2015). &nbsp\;</p>\n<p><u>Topic:</u> Political or Ethical Philosophy.</p>\n<p><u>Length:</u> Approximately 4\,000 words (excluding footnotes and references).</p>\n<p><u>Submission Guidelines:</u> Please submit your paper and a separate cover letter (as Word documents) via email to <a href="mailto:pst.scranton@gmail.com">pst.scranton@gmail.com</a>. Prepare your paper for blind review. Your cover letter should include your name\, your year\, the name of your institution\, your email address and phone number\, the paper title\, word count\, and a brief (500 word) abstract.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><u>Deadline:</u> <strong>January 1\, 2017</strong>.
