DESCRIPTION:<p>We are excited to announce the 14th annual Intermountain West Student Philosophy Conference (IWSPC). This year we welcome Sharyn Clough and Jonathan Kaplan of Oregon State University as our keynote co-speakers. Sharyn Clough is the director of the Phronesis Lab at Oregon State University and conducts research on the relationship between epistemology and social values in the context of scientific practice. Jonathan Kaplan conducts research on contemporary issues at the intersections of race and biology\, including biomedicine.</p>
