\nThe Yale University Department of Philosophy is pleased to announce that it is hosting the Philosophy and Mass Incarceration Conference at Yale University on the weekend of February 24th (Fri)\, February 25th (Sat)\, and February 26th (Sun).  \;The Conference is being held on the Yale University Campus in New Haven\, CT\, in the Whitney Humanities Center Auditorium\, at 53 Wall Street.  \;The Conference is free and open to the public\, but we are asking all attendees to register for the conference on Eventbrite to reserve their seats\, as we are anticipating a strong level of interest.  \;The Conference is Co-Sponsored by The Arthur Liman Public Interest Program at Yale Law School\, The Edward J. and Dorothy Clarke Kempf Fund at Yale University\, and the Whitney Humanities Center.  \;The Philosophy and Mass Incarceration Conference is Co-Organized by Reginald Dwayne Betts (Yale Law School)\, Lori Gruen (Wesleyan)\, and Jason Stanley (Yale).  \;The Philosophy and Mass Incarceration Conference brings together an esteemed group of scholars and the formerly incarcerated to explore the philosophy of and solutions to mass incarceration.  \;Topics of discussion include Rhetoric\, Propaganda\, and Ideology\; Prison Abolition\; Prison Education as Transformative Experience\; Boundaries of Permissibility\; and Philosophy of Mass Incarceration:  \;What and Why?  \;Confirmed speakers include:  \;Kristen Bell\, Reginald Dwayne Betts\, Milton S.F.
