DESCRIPTION:<p>Keynote Speakers: Eckart F&ouml\;rster and Paul Franks</p>\n<p>Guest Speakers: Henry Allison\, Karin de Boer\, Angela Breitenbach\, Emily Carson\, Anja Jauernig\, and Allen Wood</p>\n<p>The&nbsp\;North American Kant Society&nbsp\;and the&nbsp\;Society for German Idealism and Romanticism&nbsp\;are inviting submissions for the 2017 SGIR-NAKS joint conference to be held at Stanford University on October 14-15. The theme for the conference will be&nbsp\;<em>Kantian Legacies in German Idealism and Romanticism</em>. The SGIR and NAKS welcome papers on all aspects of the philosophy of Kant and&nbsp\;of the various figures in German Idealism and Romanticism generally.&nbsp\;Preference will be given to talks that concern the relationship between Kant&nbsp\;and some aspect of&nbsp\;Idealism and Romanticism.
