\nTithi \;Bhattacharya\, \;Associate Professor of History: The Gendered Nature of Labor
\nAnn Marie Clark\, Assoiate Professor of Political Science: Human Rights Norms in International Relations
\nCall for Papers: \;The Purdue Women in Philosophy invite graduate student submissions of extended abstracts (500-1000 words) on the themes of the conference. Abstracts should be prepared for anonymous review\, and submitted via email by January 27\, 2017. Submission should be made to purduewomeninphil@gmail.com. Participants will be notified of decisions by February 10\, 2017. Allotted presentation time for speakers will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&\;A.
\nGraduate Student Travel Awards: The conference will also provide three graduate student travel awards. The awards will be given based on mert. Students that have been accepted to present at the conference may apply. To be considered for this award\, accepted participants will submit a full (300 word) paper to purduewomeninphil@gmail.com by March 3\, 2017. Papers should be prepared for ananymous review. Recipients will be notified by March 17\, 2017.
