Theme: \;This conference aims to encourage diverse dialogues and provide a forum for areas of philosophy that are often undervalued by the canon or that connect the canon to broader contexts outside of philosophy &lsquo\;proper.&rsquo\;
\nTopic Areas: Race\, gender\, sexuality\, implicit bias\, social ontology\, social justice movements\, feminist philosophy of science\, new takes on long-considered problems\, etc. \; This list is not meant to be exhaustive.
\nCall for Abstracts: \;The Purdue Women in Philosophy invite graduate student submissions of extended abstracts (500-1000 words) on the themes of the conference. Abstracts should be prepared for anonymous review\, and submitted via email by January 27\, 2017. Submission should be made to purduewomeninphil@gmail.com. Participants will be notified of decisions by February 10\, 2017. Allotted presentation time for speakers will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&\;A.
