DESCRIPTION:<p>The Braga Meetings on Ethics and Political Philosophy have established a reputation in the past editions for providing scholars with an excellent opportunity to present both advanced and exploratory work to a welcoming audience. Graduate students\, junior researchers and senior scholars are welcome to submit their work.</p>\n<p>This event is organized by the Political Theory Group of CEHUM\, University of Minho (Braga).</p>\n<p><strong>Proposals are welcome.</strong></p>\n<p>We welcome proposals in any area of moral\, political\, or legal philosophy and in normative political theory.</p>\n<p>Keynote speakers this year will be:</p>\n<p>Prof. Alison M. Jaggar (University of Colorado Boulder/University of Birmingham):</p>\n<p><em>Other Worlds are Possible &mdash\; But Which Are Gender Just?&nbsp\;</em></p>\n<p>Prof. Gustaf Arrhenius (Stockholm University/Institute for Futures Studies):</p>\n<p><em>The Democratic Boundary Problem</em></p>\n<p><strong>Abstract submission:</strong> <br> Proposals must contain an abstract (400-500 words) prepared for blind review\, along with 5 keywords. Please provide your name\, contact information\, affiliation\, and a short 2-3 line bio. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Proposals must be sent via the Registration Form at meetingsethicspoliticalphil.weebly.com/registration--fees.html</p>\n<p>Further queries can be directed to meetings.epp@gmail.com</p>\n<p>Deadline for abstract submissions: April 10 2017.</p>\n<p>Deadline for notification of acceptance: April 30 2017.</p>\n<p>The official language of the conference will be English.
