DESCRIPTION:<p>On Thursday 27th of April 2017\, at 5pm\, John Dupr&eacute\; (University of Exeter) will be giving the second Herman Roelants Lecture on Science.</p>\n<p>The title of the talk: 'Are organisms things or processes? And why you should care.'</p>\n<p>The first Herman Roelants Lecture was delivered by James Ladyman (University of Bristol). The Herman Roelants Lectures are organized by the Centre for Logic and Analytic Philosophy (at the Institute of Philosophy in Leuven\, Belgium) in honour of its founder\, Professor Herman Roelants. The upshot of these lectures is to invite distinguished philosophers of science to give a public lecture on science. The lectures are open to everyone and they are accessible to non-specialists as well.</p>\n<p>The talk will take place in the Kardinaal Mercierzaal of the Institute of Philosophy (Kardinaal Mercierplein 2\, 3000 LEUVEN).
