DESCRIPTION:<p>We welcome submissions from all graduate students in philosophy for the 21st Annual Oxford Philosophy Graduate Conference to be held on 11th-12th November 2017 at the University of Oxford.<br><br>This year our keynote speakers will include Professor&nbsp\;<strong>Sharon Street</strong> (NYU) and Professor&nbsp\;<strong>Quassim Cassam</strong> (Warwick).&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Papers can be on any topic in philosophy. We aim to represent a broad range of philosophical debates and traditions in our final selection\, across areas of both theoretical and practical philosophy.</p>\n<p>Deadline for submissions: 16th July 2017. For submission details\, see below.</p>\n<p>The University of Oxford&rsquo\;s Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference enjoys a reputation as one of the most prestigious philosophy conferences at the graduate level in the United Kingdom.</p>\n<p>Each student presentation will be followed by a response from a member of the Oxford Philosophy Faculty.</p>\n<p>Eligibility:</p>\n<p>All current graduate students in philosophy may apply (except students enrolled at Oxford at the time of the conference).</p>\n<p>Submission details:</p>\n<p>The submission deadline is 16th July 2017.</p>\n<p>Please send the following to gradconf@philosophy.ox.ac.uk in separate .doc(x)\, .rtf\, or .pdf files:</p>\n<p>(1) A cover sheet\, containing your name\, affiliation\, degree being studied\, the title of your paper and the area of philosophy it concerns (e.g. philosophy of mind).</p>\n<p>(2) We particularly encourage submissions by philosophers from groups who are underrepresented in the discipline\; please feel free to indicate in the cover sheet whether you are a member of such a group.</p>\n<p>(3) An abstract (no more than 500 words)\, including a (preliminary) title\, and the area(s) of philosophy the paper deals with\, with no information identifying the author or the author&rsquo\;s institutional affiliation.</p>\n<p>(4) The paper (strictly no more than 4\,000 words) including title and footnotes\, suitable for blind review.</p>\n<p>N.B.
