DESCRIPTION:<p>Professor Kit Fine will use his Anneliese Maier Research Prize of the German Humboldt Foundation to finance a series of workshops on truthmaker semantics and related topics. The workshops will be organized by the&nbsp\;Phlox&nbsp\;research group under the auspices of Professor Benjamin Schnieder.</p>\n<p><em><strong>Modality and Truthmaking</strong></em>\, the third instalment of the series\, will take place at the University of Augsburg on July 28th and 29th 2017.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Attendance will be free but participants are asked to register with the organizers.</p>\n<p>Information concerning e.g. the titles of the talks and the event's schedule will be publicised once it becomes available.</p>\n<p><strong>Student Bursaries</strong></p>\n<p>A number of stipends\, each in the amount of 400 Euro\, will be available for graduate students to help finance their visit of the workshop.</p>\n<p>In order to apply\, please send a CV as well as cover page including your name\, affiliation\, contact information\, and a brief statement of no more than 250 words\, briefly explaining how your research would benefit from attending the workshop\, to&nbsp\;robert.schwartzkopff@uni-hamburg.de.</p>\n<p>The application deadline is March 31st 2017.
