DESCRIPTION:<p>The <em>Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia</em> (Portuguese Journal of Philosophy) will publish in January of 2018 a special double number on the general thematic subject of Formal Sciences and Philosophy. This will be a volume dedicated to the themes of logic and mathematics\, and it is a open call for papers.</p>\n\n<p>The&nbsp\;<em>Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia</em>&nbsp\;(RPF) was founded in 1945 by Domingos Maur&iacute\;cio\, SJ\; Cassiano Abranches\, SJ\; Severiano Tavares\, SJ and Diamantino Martins\, SJ. it is a quarterly publication of&nbsp\;<em>Axioma - Publica&ccedil\;&otilde\;es da Faculdade de Filosofia</em>.</p>\n<p><br>The&nbsp\;<em>RPF</em>\, in the tradition of Christian humanism\, has as its mission the publishing of original articles in the domain of philosophy and of recognised merit. The&nbsp\;<em>RPF&nbsp\;</em>is committed to respect the wide range of perpectives that indeed constitute philosophical thinking throughout the centuries. The articles published by&nbsp\;<em>RPF&nbsp\;</em>may be written in the prominent European languages (Portuguese\, English\, French\, German\, Spanish and Italian).<em>&nbsp\;</em>All articles are peer reviewed by an anonymous evaluation system (<em>double-blind</em>).</p>
