The Philosophy Department of the University of Tuebingen is pleased to host the international symposium "Aristotle on Living Beings. The "Generation of Animals"" (May 3-5\, 2017). We would like to invite international\, national\, and local doctoral students and postdocs to apply for the presentation of short comments and replies (5-7min) to the main speaker's presentations. If you are interested in this role\, please email a short cv and summary of your present doctoral or postdoctoral research project (together up to one page) to the organizer of the symposium. If you are interested in participating in the symposium as a guest and would like to contribute to the general discussions\, please send an email to the organizer and register. Please indicate upon registration if you would like to chair one of the sessions also. We will provide free lodging for international and national doctoral students and postdocs who will act as commentators or chairs. Travel expenses\, however\, cannot be covered.
