DESCRIPTION:<p>The mythical exodus of the Israelites from Egypt is not only an ancient narrative of the emancipation<br>of a minority\, it also describes some of the most virulent problems of our time: global migration\,<br>religious fundamentalism and political nationalism. The aim of the three-day symposium in<br>Messina is to discuss this actuality of the exodus from a interdisciplinary but foremost philosophical<br>perspective.</p>\n<p><br>If you want to present a speech of about 30 minutes or a poster\, please send an abstract of about<br>500 words by March 15\, 2017 to: sgorgone@unime.it or mr.laurin@hotmail.com. We will inform<br>you of our decisions by the end of March.</p>\n<p><br>The languages of the symposium are English and Italian.</p>
