The Marquette Philosophy Graduate Student Association invites submissions for our 2017 annual spring conference. \; The theme of this year&rsquo\;s conference is &ldquo\;Forgotten Philosophers (and why we should remember them.&rdquo\; \; A &ldquo\;forgotten philosopher&rdquo\; is a philosopher whose work has been typically neglected\, ignored\, marginalized\, or has simply fallen out of favor in the contemporary philosophical context.  \;The category itself is open to interpretation. \; Our hope for this year&rsquo\;s conference is to give graduate students the opportunity to share their research on figures that are no longer generally appreciated. \; In particular\, we want to give up-and-coming researchers a chance to show why their philosopher of choice is worthy of attention today. \; We encourage submissions about any tradition or period of historical philosophy.
\nPlease address any general questions to Clark Wolf (william.c.wolf@marquette.edu).
