DESCRIPTION:<p>CWAP 2017 is the 2nd edition of workshop devoted to discussion on the main issues of contemporary analytical philosophy in a small but stimulating environment.The first\, 2014\, edition dealt with &ldquo\;normativity&rdquo\; as discussed within theory of meaning\, belief and knowledge.</p>\n<p>The subject of this edition is the problem of <strong>philosophical analysis</strong> as the method of philosophical inquiry. We welcome contributions both defending and criticizing the method\, as well as applying the method to various fields of philosophy\, with some focus placed on (although certainly not limited to) <strong>social ontology</strong>.</p>\n<strong>Call for Commentators:</strong>\n&nbsp\;\nThere are still couple of slots available for those who would wish to attend the conference as commentators.\nPlease apply by sending a brief CV and a description of research interests to Pawel Banas: pawel.banas at&nbsp\;<a#1155cc\;"  href="http://uj.edu.pl/"  target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=pl&amp\;q=http://uj.edu.pl&amp\;source=gmail&amp\;ust=1498308610919000&amp\;usg=AFQjCNGz6-qzKp-DbuZddlGoY7_ohNh49A">uj.edu.pl</a>.\n\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\n\n<p><strong>Format of the workshop:</strong></p>\n<p>Each participant is supposed to present either an original research paper (8000 words max.) during the workshop\, which will be later a subject of commentary and intensive small group discussion. We aim not only at providing hours of analytical philosophy-focused working groups and lectures by our guest speakers\, but also at helping our participants improve and publish their papers.</p>\n<p><strong>Call for Papers:</strong></p>\n<p>We invite submissions of original papers for presentations at the workshop addressing any problems within the broad subject of the workshop.
