DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Call for Papers</strong></p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>The students of the Instituto de Investigaciones Filos&oacute\;ficas at Universidad Nacional Aut&oacute\;noma de M&eacute\;xico (IIFs-UNAM) invite graduate students to submit papers to</p>\n<p><strong>The 4th IIFs-UNAM Philosophy Graduate Conference</strong></p>\n<p>To be held on March 7-8\, 2018 in Mexico City</p>\n<p><strong>keynote speaker</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Mark Schroeder</strong></p>\n<p><strong>University of Southern California</strong></p>\n<p>We invite the submission of papers from graduate students on the following areas of analytic philosophy:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophy of Mind</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Aesthetics</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Epistemology</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Metaphysics</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethics</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophy of Language</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophy of Science</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Logic and Philosophy of Logic</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>History of Philosophy</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Political Philosophy</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Metaethics</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Philosophy of Law</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Submission information</strong></p>\n<p><strong><br></strong></p>\n<p>Deadline for submission of papers: <u>September 1\, 2017</u>.</p>\n<p>Accepted papers will be announced no more than seven weeks after deadline.</p>\n<p>Papers must be in English and must not exceed 5000 words (excluding abstract and references). Authors must send two files: (i) a document which includes the paper with title\, abstract (no more than 250 words) and keywords\; prepared for blind review without the author&rsquo\;s personal information and (ii) a file with the following information: author&rsquo\;s name\, affiliation\, title of the paper and email. Files must be submitted in pdf format to unam.gconf@filosoficas.unam.mx>.</p>\n<p>All papers will be subjected to a double-blind peer-review process. Accepted papers should be suitable for a thirty-minute presentation and a graduate student belonging to iifs -unam will offer a reply.</p>\n<p>IIFs-UNAM offers to cover some of the accommodation expenses for accepted speakers.</p>
