DESCRIPTION:<p>Deadline for submissions: 1 October 2017. Applications and enquiries should be sent to [mona.simion@ifikk.uio.no]. Notification of acceptance will be received by 1 November 2017.&nbsp\;<br><br>We invite full paper submissions addressing philosophical issues related to social epistemology broadly construed\, including but not limited to: testimony\, trust\, disagreement\, epistemic norms\, social norms\, the epistemology of speech acts\, epistemic justice\, social epistemology and the internet (e.g. epistemology of social networks\, epistemology of search\, epistemology of Wikipedia\; epistemological dimensions of the human-computer interface\, etc.)\, social epistemology of journalism\, the epistemology of groups\, social epistemology of science\, political epistemology/social epistemology and democracy\, and social epistemology and collective action and intentionality.</p>\n<p><br>Papers should be no longer than 8000 words\, and prepared for anonymous review. Each successful applicant will be allocated a respondent from among the event&rsquo\;s other participants.&nbsp\;<br><br>We have 4 slots reserved for graduate students/very early career researchers (within 1 year after PhD).
