In many senses\, we are still living in its aftermath\, trying to understand its impact upon the social and cultural framework which we now perceive as familiar. Over time\, the Reformation engaged the attention of philosophers\, historians\, sociologists\, theologians\, historians of ideas and historians of science attempting to understand its relation with the modern philosophy\, the scientific revolution\, capitalism\, other cultural and social phenomena characteristic of European modernity.
\n
Our conference aims to provide a forum for discussing current debates and breakthroughs on the subject of the inter-relations between Reformation and Modernity. We welcome papers coming from a variety of perspectives\, and from all humanist disciplines. Students&rsquo\; contributions will also be taken into consideration\, since the organizers are planning to organize a student panel.
\n\n
Conference languages: English and Romanian.
\n\n\n\n
Submission of papers:
\n
Please send your abstract (max. 500 words) by email to conference@filosofie.unibuc.ro by September 15\, 2017.
