DESCRIPTION:
Essays are sought for a collection of new articles that engage science fiction in terms of its ethical content\, with a focus on analytic or Anglo-American tradition of ethical theorizing. The guiding idea behind the volume is to expand the boundaries of ethical criticism of literature by either treating science fiction texts as engaging in arguments about ethical problems found in the philosophical literature or using concepts from ethical theorizing to develop new interpretive lenses for science fiction.
\n
Interested Publisher: McFarland
\n
Submissions
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Abstract: 200 words
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Chapter: 6\,000 to 8\,000 words
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; MLA style\, Microsoft Word
\n
Due Dates
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; CV and Abstract: December 1\, 2017
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Full-Text Submission: March 1\, 2018
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Notification: May 1\, 2018
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Final Draft: July 1\, 2018
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Publication Date: Spring 2019
\n
Submissions should include:
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; CV for each author or co-author
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Email contact information for each author or co-author
\n
Send Submissions and correspondence to
\n
&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; James M.
