DESCRIPTION:<p>Call for abstracts: Mississippi Philosophical Association Annual Meeting</p>\n<p>Theme: Well-Being</p>\n<p>Keynote speaker: Valerie Tiberius\, University of Minnesota</p>\n<p>The Mississippi Philosophical Association (MPA) is soliciting abstracts for presentations at its annual meeting\, to be held February 9-10\, (Friday-Saturday)\, on the Mississippi State University campus in Starkville\, MS. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>We seek participants whose work explores philosophical issues related to well-being and happiness.</p>\n<p>While the MPA is a regional organization\, we seek broad participation in this conference. Philosophers from all institutions and locations are encouraged to submit abstracts.</p>\n<p>Submissions should include a title page with the title of the presentation\, author&rsquo\;s name\, institutional affiliation\, email address\, and postal address. A 500 word abstract should be prepared for blind review and sent as a second file (.doc or pdf only). Email all submissions or questions to Alicia Hall (aah400@msstate.edu).</p>\n<p><strong>GRADUATE STUDENT PRIZE:</strong> There will be cash prizes of $200 (first) and $100 (second) for the best graduate student presentations.
