DESCRIPTION:<p><strong><br></strong>The Gandhi\, King\, Chavez\, Addams Society seeks proposals for presentations at our group meeting at the 2018 APA-Pacific meeting in San Diego (Mar. 28 - Apr. 1) on the topic of:</p>\n<p><strong>Nonviolence Logics and Antifascism</strong></p>\n<p>Including\, but not limited to:</p>\n<p><br>-Nonviolent analysis of threats that strategies and tactics of fascism pose to democracy\,</p>\n<p><br>-Nonviolent analysis of strategies and tactics to confront fascist threats to democracy<br><br>Submissions are encouraged for presentation at the conference and follow-up submission to the society's journal\, The Acorn: Philosophical Studies in Pacifism and Nonviolence.</p>\n<p>Please email your propsosal to Jose-Antonio Orosco at joseph.orosco@oregonstate.edu</p>\n<p>-In the subject line indicate Proposal for APA-Pacific</p>\n<p>-In the message\, indicate the title of your proposed presentation\, provide an abstract of 150 words\, your name and affiliation as you would like it to appear in the program.</p>\n<p>Deadline for proposals\, Oct. 1\, 2017.</p>
