DESCRIPTION:<p>A three-week NEH-style summer seminar for twelve scholars\, each receiving a stipend of USD 2700 from the American Society for Aesthetics.</p>\n<p>Philosophers working in aesthetics or value theory are invited to apply\, as are scholars in the fine arts and the social and behavioural sciences. Successful applicants will propose research or pedagogical projects that promise to benefit from and contribute to the seminar. A doctorate is required by the application deadline. Senior scholars may apply\, but priority will be given to junior faculty\, contract faculty\, and faculty at teaching-oriented institutions in North America.</p>\n<p>Deadline: January 14\, 2018</p>\n
